Mangrove forests are forests that grow near large river mouths, tidal areas, or seasides, where river deltas provide a lot of sediment (sand and mud) and are usually referred to as ecotone areas. The development of technology is getting faster, making people have developed web-based remote sensing, namely Google Earth Engine, which can access large data sources with a fairly wide scope. Lack of research on mangrove areas involving this platform, this research will examine the ability of this platform in developing mangrove areas in DKI Jakarta Province.
